Before I came to live here, my predecessor sent me a huge memo outlining all the things I needed to know about living with my new family. One of those things was SpokesCat duties.
Charlie ran the fundraising campaign for Get Your Guts in Gear for us IBD cats (and their humans). My SpokesCat duties are for a new charity bike ride called Pedal for Paws, to benefit my former shelter.
If you are local to southern New England, and would like to join our ride on Saturday October 2, registration opens today. There is no fundraising required, just a $30 fee, which includes lunch and a ride T-shirt. You'll have a great time riding your bike past some pretty shoreline scenery, and there are not too many hills. I promise. You will help all the cats and kittens at the shelter who've been rescued after me, and are still waiting for their forever families.
In the meantime, I have some coaching to do. My work here is never done.
Love, Rainy
What a pretty cat and so talented, too. Hope you get lots of folks to participate!
